This morning the Danish, Norvegian and Polish ships participating in Exercise DANEX 07 one by one slided into Rønne Harbour. After a few days with exercises in the Baltic Sea around Bornholm a weekend lies ahead with activities like “Open Ship” where the public can visit the ships. The ships are open to visitors both today and tomorrow, Sunday, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. During the visit in Rønne there will also be “Olympic Games”, where the crews can compete against each other.
The portvisit, which lasts the entire weekend is, however, also used to prepare for the exercise activities of the coming weeks. This is for one thing done at the so-called pre-sail conference, where the participants are informed about the latest changes in the exercise programme.
The detailed programme for the activities of the weekend can be found on this website under the menu item “Portvisits”.
