The first unit was the command ship THETIS where both the crew and Danish Task Group met with the Admiral.

It is important for me to get out to all the units. I have two messages: Personnel status and the Navy’s possible participation in the international operation Task Force 150, says Nils Christian Wang. – The Navy is in a paradoxical situation. There is great focus on the Navy’s participation in international operations and at the same time we – as does the rest of society – lack qualified manpower. This is a great challenge.

After the visit on THETIS Admiral Danish Fleet was transferred to MAKRELEN on a British LYNX and from there onward to STØREN. On board MAKRELEN Rear Admiral Nils Christian Wang watched a mine clearing exercise and met with the commanding officer and the crew. The day ended with a rubber dinghy trip to PETER TORDENSKIOLD.
Wednesday the tour goes on to SKADEN and ABSALON and to the NEO-element at Raghammer Odde exercise and in Boderne Harbour.
During his visit to DANEX 07 Admiral Danish Fleet will meet with Commander Danish Division, Major General Peter Kühnel and Supreme Allied Commander Transformation, General Lance L. Smith, United States Air Force.
