DANEX NOCO 2012 is over
After 10 days at sea, the DANEX NOCO-exercise is now over. It has been a worth-while experience for both the participants and the staff conducting the exercise.
NCAGS - Naval Cooperation and Guidance for Shipping
During DANEX / NOCO 12 NCAGS was exercised by providing a Staff Officer at each of the CTGs (Command Task Groups) who could call upon a supporting NCAGS unit located ashore.

Boarding exercises during DANEX NOCO 12
Boarding is used in wartime as a way to seize a vessel without destroying it, or to remove its cargo (people or goods) before it is destroyed. It can also be used to aid in the collection of naval intelligence.
