Quite a lot of people had found their way to the maritime Olympic stadium: the harbour in Aalborg. The winner was team number 1 from HDMS ESBERN SNARE, number two was team 1 from FGS MECKLENBURG-VORPOMMERN and number three was the team from HMS RICHMOND. For the next year ESBERN SNARE 1 therefore is the owner of the dashing challenge cup.

There were many exciting disciplines: paddling in rubber dinghy, team swimming in the harbour with fender, rowing machine competition, duel on a beam over a basin with foam and water, fast walking with water in a gravy spoon held in the walker’s mouth, egg-throwing and traditional tug-of-war.
