Poorland

Poorland was highly dependant on the economic and military support from a Whiteland.

The living conditions and development of Poorland has shown a steady decline since the major regional power turned its back to Poorland due to grieve personal disagreements among the two state leaders. Recent development has shown a more pragmatic approach to the western democraties from Poorland. Ethnic and religious issues have so far prevented the process of establishing a safe and secure environment in the country.

A small but badly managed coastguard is in its birth. Although still embryonic by nature, it is possible to establish decent working relationships with the coastguard. However some small fractions within the coastguard are reluctant to cooperate with foreign countries which they see as imperialist against Poorland.  The fragile cooperation is largely dependent on personal relationships as the chain of command is long and remains a challenge to deal with.

Terrorist- smuggling and piracy networks have established themselves in relative negligence from the local authorities. On several occasions, pirate groups have withdrawn into Poorlandian waters when chased by military vessels.
