Whiteland has a small but efficient and well led navy and a small but effective air force.
The navy has gradually expanded its area of operations and is frequently seen in the international waters off Mainlandia.
The naval officer’s corps, which was considered the elite of the Whiteland armed forces, faced considerably difficulties in adjusting to the new world order. Reports indicate that similar dissatisfaction also occurs for some air force pilots. Consequently rogue elements exist, particularly in the semi autonomous fast patrol boat squadron and among some of the air force pilots.
In an attempt to being a regional power to be reckoned with, Whiteland supports a number of militant factions in the region.
Whiteland is a member of UN and it seeks influence in the region by actively participating in UN led or involved projects and operations.
