The Danish defense donates personal protective equipment to Ukraine
At the request of Ukraine, the government has decided to donate plate carriers and medical pouches to the country. The decision was taken due to Russia's actions towards Ukraine.

Ukraine has requested a donation of personal protective equipment. The government has therefore decided to donate 2000 sets of plate carriers from the Armed Forces to Ukraine.
The plate carriers are vests that provides protection against fragments and bullets.
In addition, 700 medical pouches (IFAKs) are donated with, among other things, bandages for the individual soldier. These are worn by soldiers and used for life-saving first aid.
The equipment is already in the Armed Forces 'warehouses. The donation will not have consequences for the Armed Forces' ability to solve own tasks nor Danish soldiers.
Trucks with the 2000 plate carriers was shipped of from Vordingborg on Friday evening towards the Polish-Ukrainian border.
